Relationship and Sexuality Education

Last nights parents of students in years5-8 braved the cold to come and hear a little about the health programme we are teaching this term.  Puberty!  What were you taught as a child?  How does your family talk about this topic?

We shared this powerpoint with parents last night as an overview of the topics we are covering in the course of this unit.

Green Screen Effects in Studio

We have been practising using green screen effects in class. Students will get to use their creativity to produce a video clip using the green screen effects.

Learning conversations

That's right, it is that time of year.  First round of learning conversations were last night and it was such a joy to watch students share their learning with whānau. Can't wait to see more of you tonight!

It might be cold outside...

It might be cold outside but that doesn't stop Mosiana, Willow, Jaime and Nabraska enjoying ice cream made in science.  This term's focus is chemistry and we are having fun looking at physical and chemical changes.  Watch this space for more exciting experiments.
