Location: Porter Heights Ski Field

Cost: TBA

At School: 6:30am

Depart: 7:00am

Arrive back at school: 5:00pm-5:45pm.

Gear List: What to bring

Students will need to bring

Students will be required to provide suitable clothing and will need the following:

A large lunch (it’s a long day)

A drink or two, check that they don’t leak (No fizz)

Warm Clothes  (wool and synthetic fibres like polypropylene and polarfleece
are excellent).

Clothing should be worn in layers so that it can be added / removed to suit the
conditions

- woollen jersey         - full change of clothing 

- gloves or mittens         - plastic bag for wet clothes

- woollen hat                     - waterproof long pants

- WINDPROOF!!!/waterproof jacket - long sleeved skivvy/thermals/polyprops

- sunscreen                 - woollen socks

- goggles or sunglasses

William Pike Challenge Y7 & Y8 Students

Students have been working at completing their challenges during the term and will continue till the end of its completion. Students can work on these challenges from home as long as they log in on the challenge hub their activity. There are three challenges to complete, Outdoor, Community and Passion Projects. Although there is no open night, you can take a virtual tour here.

SBHS offers three scholarships for year 9 boys, academics, music, and sports.  If you are interested in trying out, information can be found here.  There is an online application process that closes at 3 pm Friday 19th June - that's this week.
